Reference indicators for vision-guided cameras are like road signs when we are driving. The camera reads the content on the tags to obtain reference values such as position, angle, and coordinates, providing guidance for the movement of mobile robots or carts. The tags can be made from different materials, and it is recommended to use reflective materials (reflective fabric, reflective paint, mirrors, etc.) for marking to adapt to a wider range of scenarios.

Using a 4x4 dot-matrix label as an example: The label is configured with 16 feature points arranged in a rectangular grid. One corner vertex is designated as the coordinate system origin. Two other corner vertices, forming a right angle relative to the origin, serve as the X-axis endpoint and Y-axis endpoint, respectively. The remaining feature points function as identification points. Each label must contain an origin, an X-axis endpoint, and a Y-axis endpoint. The arrangement of identification points varies for each label, creating a unique identity (ID) for each one.

In addition, we offer single-point circular targets, nested targets, and custom-shaped targets tailored to specific requirements. Target specifications depend on the actual application scenario; please contact the manufacturer for further details.
