MP3U is a newly upgraded industrial camera purpose-built for visual positioning. Representing a quantum leap over the MP3S series, it features a significantly expanded Field of View (FOV) and comprehensively enhanced perception accuracy for spatial coordinates (XYZ). Most notably, it achieves a breakthrough in Roll angle measurement precision, refining it from 0.1° to 0.01°. Integrated with proprietary ISP (Image Signal Processing) technology developed by Sidumodo, and informed by years of deep-sector expertise in visual guidance, this camera stands as a highly cost-effective, industrial-grade tool for visual obstacle avoidance and positioning.
Operating independently of ambient visible light, the MP3U features a built-in high-efficiency infrared (IR) illumination system. It supports real-time recognition at rates up to 120 FPS, enabling precise acquisition of the reference point’s spatial position, relative pose, and coordinate data. With its exceptional dynamic response and anti-interference capabilities, the camera is ideally suited for visual guidance and positioning in complex scenarios, including Laden AGVs, AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots), Automated Parking Systems, and Mobile Racking.
As shown below, users can obtain coordinate data and other critical information by connecting the device to a PLC or other primary controller via an RS-485 interface.
