Full-Scenario Precision Navigation and Operational Solutions for UAVs

1. Industry Pain Points
In GPS-denied environments such as indoors, tunnels, under bridges, and urban canyons, UAVs struggle to achieve precise positioning and navigation. Reliance on traditional visual SLAM is often prone to positioning failure due to lighting fluctuations and a lack of texture. In critical missions like precision landing, autonomous picking, and fixed-point hovering, the accuracy and reliability of the "last ten meters" remain the primary bottlenecks for commercialization.
2. Sidumodo Solutions
  • System Deployment:

  1. Precision Landing/Picking: An MM3S camera is mounted on the UAV's belly or the operational end-effector. A lightweight 4x4 dot-matrix target is fixed to the target landing pad, mobile platform, or the top of the cargo to be picked.
  2. Tunnel/Corridor Inspection: The MM3S camera is installed on the UAV, with targets fixed at intervals along the walls or ceiling of the tunnel or inspection route.

  • Workflow:

  1. Macro Navigation: The UAV navigates using GPS or other methods while in the broad operational area.
  2. Target Acquisition: Upon entering the target zone, the onboard MM3S camera captures the targets within its field of view (FOV).
  3. Data Output: The camera outputs X, Y, Z and Roll pose information relative to the target to the UAV’s flight control system at an ultra-high frequency of 120Hz.
  4. Terminal Guidance: The flight control system enters "Terminal Vision Guidance" mode. Using high-frequency, high-precision pose data, it performs closed-loop control to achieve autonomous landing, hovering, or picking with centimeter or even millimeter-level accuracy.
  • Product Selection: MM3S Vision Guidance Camera

Reason for Selection: UAV flight control demands extremely high real-time performance and accuracy for pose data. The 120Hz high-frequency 3D pose output provided by the MM3S is the critical factor in ensuring flight stability and precise control.
3. Core Performance Advantages
  • 120Hz Ultra-High Refresh Rate for Flight Stability: By providing ultra-high-frequency feedback to the flight control system, the MM3S enables the UAV to calmly handle airflow disturbances. This results in "rock-solid" hovering and smooth, fluid landing trajectories.
  • Centimeter-Level Landing Precision for Critical Missions: The MM3U solves the industry challenge of "imprecise vision and poor landing accuracy." It enables UAVs to reliably land on small, moving, or even unstable platforms, significantly expanding their operational scope.
  • GPS-Independent for All-Scenario Operations: Whether indoors, underground, or in tunnels, any area marked with a Tag becomes a precision workspace. These tags effectively construct a "virtual, high-precision GPS network."
  • Integrated IR Illumination for 24/7 Operations: Unaffected by ambient light conditions (day or night), the MM3S is ideally suited for night inspections, emergency rescue, and other round-the-clock missions.

4. Customer Value
Broadened Operational Scope, Enhanced Mission Success, and Guaranteed Flight Safety.
The MM3S transforms UAVs from being "capable of flight" to being "capable of mission execution." It enables drones to perform high-precision tasks that were previously impossible, creating significant new commercial value.
